My goal as Supt. of Schools is to work toward the creation of a school environment that makes people want to come to Kashunamiut School.  That includes the students, their parents, the staff, and the community.  When we all realize that Kashunamiut School is the property of the village, we will be stronger as a school and a village.                                                                                                                                              

I believe that as Supt. I am the servant of the Community in general and the School Board and School District in particular.  I am a minority person in Chevak, I need to learn the things I need to know about the Cup’ik people and their culture.  My door is always open and I welcome you to come and see me at my office.  The more I learn about the community and the people, the better able I will be to do a good job as Supt. of Schools.
